K12 Learning Advisors' vision is to be the go-to partner for K-12 education sales consulting, training and coaching and to be recognized for our commitment to understanding the unique needs of each client and delivering tailored impactful solutions.

K12LA was founded by Ulysses "Uly" Navarrete after nearly 20 years of serving in various roles in the K-12 education sales sector locally, regionally and nationally. For close to two decades Uly has masterfully connected the dots that many times are overlooked and unseen with clients, partners and even other vendors. He understands that real partnerships, not the typical sales versions, create more value and lead to more repeat and ongoing business. 

Uly relies each opportunity to learn from his clients and broaden his perspective with every engagement because he knows that no strategy is successful if the client doesn’t buy in. He has applied lessons learned from working with schools, districts, and clients of all sizes from across the country to personalize each project at hand. This approach has also led to finding parallels and opportunities to breaking problems down further to create win-win-win solutions for all.

Uly has worked extensively in the education technology sector with start-ups, established
companies, and privately held businesses. He understands how their priorities, pressures, and
personalities differ and adapts his approach accordingly. He has honed his skills through various roles at Tell Me More, Achieve3000, Camelot Education, Beable, and most recently at Rex K-12. He is also a member of various professional organizations that lead the charge to provide equity, access, and opportunity to all students regardless of zip code.

Uly lives in Phoenix Arizona and in his free time, which isn’t much, he practices martial arts, enjoys cooking, and loves travel. He is committed to always bettering himself so he can continue to help others. He loves learning about people, building relationships, and finding ways to draw humor out even in the most intense situations. Legend has it that while hiking in the desert he once stopped a rattlesnake from biting him with a hiss-terical one-liner. ;)
